There was a sizeable lead, a big comeback and a fourth quarter reset all leading to a Sioux Falls Skyforce victory 129-124 over the Windy City Bulls on Saturday night.

Under the sizeable lead section, with 4:46 before halftime Sioux Falls (25-17) raced to a 19-point advantage as the Skyforce offense picked up where it left off last night against Maine. The Bulls (17-21) strung some baskets together to close the half trailing by eight.

That lead held up until the final period when Windy City pulled ahead with an 18-5 run to post their largest lead of the night at 113-109. Momentum quickly spun back to the visitors as a 12-1 spurt quelled the uprising.

Keith Benson again led the way for Sioux Falls by scoring 30 on 11-16 shooting from the floor and hitting all 8 tries from the stripe. Second fiddle belonged to Bubu Palo with 23 points 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Chicago native Patrick Miller finished with 20 points. Malik Beasley on assignment from the Denver Nuggets was the only other Skyforce player in double figures with 19 points.

Six from Windy City had 10 or more. Alfonzo McKinnie (29 points), Jarell Eddie (24 points) and Jon Octeus (17 points) off the bench were the best of the Bulls.

This is the only meeting between the fledgling group from Windy City and Sioux Falls. The Skyforce will be off until Saturday (March 11) for a road contest with Salt Lake City. Meanwhile the Bulls will host Maine on Monday.
