The man who was caught taking pictures and shooting videos up women's skirts using a shoe camera was sentenced on Friday.

Dallas Wilkinson, the former Roosevelt High School teacher and soccer coach changed his plea on Friday, April 1, 2016 and was sentenced to serve four months in jail, along with an additional eight more months of electronic monitoring. He was also allowed work release as part of the plea deal.

Wilkinson was charged with four counts of using a recording device without consent. Two of the counts were dropped with the plea agreement.

The whole thing stems back to an incident that tool place in late June of 2015 at the South Minnesota Avenue Sioux Falls Hy-Vee location. The Store Manager observed Wilkinson displaying strange behavior in the store.

He was later taken into custody after his car was spotted in the Hy-Vee parking lot again in July. After his arrest, police found the shoe camera after searching Wilkinson's car and home. The photos and videos revealed he had been doing this at other retail locations as well.

Wilkinson admitted to using a shoe camera twice a week for two years to look up women's skirts.

As a result of the incident, Wilkinson lost his job and his wife ultimately filled for divorce for what she called his 'selfish desires'.

During the sentencing, Wilkinson told the judge that he is '100 percent responsible for his actions and he takes ownership of all of them'. He is also attending counseling for sexual addiction.

With sentence Wilkinson was ordered to have no contact with the victim and he is banned from the stores where the crimes were committed. He will also have to continue sexual addiction counseling for at least two years.
