The 4th Annual Sioux Falls Downtown Riverfest is this Saturday August 13.  Enjoy live music, art, kids' activities, food, beverage, retail vendors and a lot more and celebrate the summer beauty of the Big Sioux River.

When: 4:00 PM and goes until 11:00 PM

Where: Downtown Riverfront from 6th Street to South of 8th Street

Entertainment on the Riverfront Amphitheater stage in front of Cherapa Place:

  • 4:30 PM: Jim Groth
  • 6:30 PM: Union Grove Pickers
  • 8:45 PM: Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal
  • 10:54 - 11:00 PM: Fireworks presented by Xcel Energy

Kids' Activities: The Washington Pavilion will be on site to offer children's activities on the Raven side of the riverfront directly across from the amphitheater from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.

Canoe Rides: Take a canoe ride on the Big Sioux with the South Dakota Canoe & Kayak Association from 5:00 until 8:00 PM just north of the main stage amphitheatre for just $10 per rider!

Vendors: Food vendors can be found in the parking lot next to Raven Industries.

Drinks: Enjoy cold beverages at several locations throughout the event venue from Bud Sioux Falls and Coca Cola. Proceeds from beverage sales benefit the DTSF organization!

Art: Local art gallery, Exposure Gallery & Studios, will be painting a 6' x 16' foot mural LIVE at the event from 4:00 PM - Sundown next to the 8th Street Bridge. Stop by to watch local artists create some amazing artwork!

Parking/Transportation: Walk, run, bike, canoe or kayak to this event located on the city of Sioux Falls bike trail at the Downtown River Greenway! Find downtown city parking here.
