Sioux Falls Police Want to Hear From You
During Wednesday's Police Briefing, Police Chief Doug Barthel announced a series of public meetings set for next week in each of the quadrants to give residents and business owners an opportunity to meet the captain, lieutenant, and officers for their area. Each meeting will focus on the different issues and crimes that are encountered within that quadrant.
According to Chief Barthel, the meetings will provide neighbors a chance to meet and speak directly with police while learning what affects their neighborhoods.
The four quadrants are divided into southeast, southwest, northeast, and northwest by Minnesota Avenue, 26th Street on the west side, and 18th Street on the east side.
The meetings will be held on the following dates:
Southeast Quadrant Tuesday June 23 Morningside Community Center
Southwest Quadrant Wednesday June 24th Kuehn Community Center
Northwest Quadrant Thursday, June 25 Oyate Community Center
Northeast Quadrant Monday June 29 Kenny Anderson Community Center
All the meetings will be held 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
