SIOUX FALLS - City officials say all city parks in Sioux Falls are now open with no restrictions.

Parks and Recreation Director Don Kearney says contractors and city employees have been working hard since the snow and ice storm in April to get the park system cleaned up and he says crews from the State Department of Corrections were instrumental in thge cleanup.

The last parks and attractions to open were Great Bear Recreation Park, the Perry Nature Area, Leaders Park and the Great Plains Zoo.

Kearney says the bike trails are open, but some branch hangers and trees are still being removed.
