Sioux Falls Mayor Discusses Assault, Bullying, Domestic Abuse

Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether has scheduled a Wednesday afternoon news conference at City Hall titled: 'Why Aren't We More Upset About This?'

In light of the recent headlines focused on domestic violence and child abuse across the country, Mayor Huether is letting the victims know that help is available in our community and that violence like this should not be tolerated.

Aside from Mayor Huether, a number of representatives of organizations that work in this area will also be present during the news conference.  Among them:  Chief of Police Doug Barthel and Colleen Moran, Assistant City Attorney/Human Relations Manager/ADA Coordinator.
