Sioux Falls Police are looking for suspects in connection with a Saturday stabbing of a 16-year-old boy at Bryant Park in the northeast part of the city.

Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says the victim was accompanied by a friend.

"While they were in the park when five guys were essentially challenging them to a fight. Our suspect started walking toward the victim and his friend. The victim saw he had a knife. When the victim grabbed the blade of the knife, the suspect pulled it away. The victim ended up having a cut to his hand. All the suspects took off running. The victim went to the hospital and had to get some stitches."

Clemens says police have some nicknames of the suspects but they are still trying to figure out who they are.

Clemens added the suspect that may have had the knife was a black man around six feet tall with long dreadlocks with gold tips on the end.
