A Sioux Falls man says someone got into his house one day this week and stole four guitars.

Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says the guitars, two Gibsons and two Fenders, were reported stolen Thursday afternoon from a home on North Sandberg Drive.

Clemens says the resident could find no sign of forced entry, and he says the man told police the guitars were valued collectively at around $11,000.

One guitar was from 1969 and the other three were from the 1970s.

Clemens says the resident told police nothing else was missing from his house, and he believed the guitars had been taken sometime between Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.
