A Sioux Falls man was arrested Sunday in connection with the early morning burglary of a business in the northeast part of the city.

"There was a back glass door that was broken and cash was taken." according to Sioux Falls Police Department Information Officer Sam Clemens.

"The video in the business shows that the man entered and had a baseball hat and a grey hooded sweatshirt. The burglary was similar to others within the region. Detectives have been working on a suspect. We had another officer later in the morning who saw the suspect in north central Sioux Falls. Initially he was arrested for driving with a revoked license. We later had found out he had stolen the car from his former girlfriend. Both the baseball hat, grey hooded sweatshirt and cash were found inside the car. As a result, he was arrested for a whole host of charges. Probably the two main ones, burglary and grand theft."

Clemens identified the suspect as 36-year-old Kai Conrad Hansen.
