Sioux Falls Man Arrested for Asking Underage Girl for Sex
It was an internet relationship headed in the wrong direction. Fortunately an alert parent and Sioux Falls Police stopped it from going too far.
According to authorities, 22 year-old Christopher John Paulson was chatting with a 14-year old girl on Facebook. The conversation had been ongoing for several weeks.
The girl’s mother had been monitoring the account and noted a request for pictures. Police were notified of the relationship on Sunday, April 19, 2015.
From that point, the Internet Crimes Against Children Detectives became involved. Then Thursday, May 7, 2015, the man asked to meet the girl to perform a sex act.
Police detectives and members of the Minnehaha County Warrant Task Force arrested Paulson of Sioux Falls. He was charged with Solicitation of a Minor, a class 4 felony.
