A little more than a month before Grace Potter heads to Sioux Falls to headline at JazzFest 2015, she's sharing the stage for a couple of gigs with a band you may have heard of - The Rolling Stones.

Potter, and her band The Nocturnals, will open for The Stones twice this week on their ZIP CODE Tour, Wednesday night at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, and Saturday night at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

The Waitsfield, Vermont native has been touring since 2002 and has four albums out, featuring a mixture of blues rock, folk rock, hard rock, and alternative rock. The last two albums, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals and The Lion The Beast The Beat have landed in the Top 20 on the Billboard album chart. Her lone single to reach the Top 100, "Stars", came back in 2012.

Grace Potter and The Nocturnals will be the featured performers Saturday, July 18, 2015 at JazzFest, at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls. Marcia Ball is headlining Thursday, July 16, Boz Skaggs, Friday, July 17.

The Rolling Stones have some history with JazzFest performers. Last year's headliner Gary Clark, Jr. not only opened for The Stones at the first gig on the North American Leg of the ZIP CODE Tour, May 24, in San Diego, he also joined the band onstage for 'Bitch'.

Another performer heading to Sioux Falls this summer is going to cross paths with The Rolling Stones on this tour. Ed Sheeran will open for The Stones, June 27, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Sheeran plays at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, June 10, 2015.
