Last week, a group of Sioux Falls residents converged on Reno, Nevada.  Their purpose:  to win the bid for a national girls softball tournament---ages 14 and under from the Amateur Softball Association.

That's just what happened.  The commissioners of the ASA voted and Sioux Falls won!

Right after the vote, Teri Schmidt of the Sioux Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau talked with me about the victory and what it means for our community.  Check out the video interview with Terri!

No doubt about it---the hard work by Sioux Falls People for Youth and the Convention and Visitors Bureau produced results!  Congratulations!
