A Wednesday morning accident may lead to additional charges after a suspect flees the scene on foot.

In a press release, Sioux Falls Police reported the incident about 8:30 AM. The hit and run crash happened near 57th Street and Plum Creek Road.

One of the drivers was described as running from the scene and Police suspect he may have been involved in an earlier incident. A description of the suspect was a black male with curly hair, wearing a darker colored hooded sweatshirt and possibly without shoes.

He ran toward the north and east. A person in the vehicle that was struck was injured but not considered life threatening. Anyone with information about the suspect is encouraged to call CrimeStoppers.
