Sioux Falls Woman Arrested For Two Armed Robberies Monday

Sioux Falls Police arrested Jennifer Jean Mitch on two counts of armed robbery.

According to a police news release, items linked to two robberies were located in Mitch's vehicle when she was surrounded and taken into custody in the HyVee parking lot at 26th & Marion..

The armed robberies  took place on Monday at the Pump n Pak on South Western Avenue and HKV Liquor on West 41st St.

Upon arrival at Pump n Pak, it was reported that a white female, armed with a knife, had entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.  She was given money by the clerk and fled the store.

Later on, Metro Communications dispatched a second armed robbery at HKV Liquor.  The owner of the store said the suspect had fled the store, after being refused any money.

No injuries were reported during the robberies.

Mitch, who was arrested without incident, is being lodged in the Minnehaha County Jail.
