Sioux Falls April Ice Storm [PHOTOS]

The winter storm that is impacting all of South Dakota, plus much of Nebraska and Minnesota is just ramping up. Here in Sioux Falls, ice and wind are causing trees to snap and power lines to fall.

As of 10:00 Tuesday morning (April 9) we have reports of 151 power outages affecting over 4000 Sioux Falls customers. The freezing rain and sleet will eventually change over to snow. The Winter Storm Warning for our area is in effect through Thursday morning. (April 11)
