We are blessed here in Sioux Falls! Just one look at any events calendar and you would know why. From major fundraising events that entertain the whole family to free sports clinics for children to free municipal band concerts. We have the Sioux Falls Canaries, Storm and Skyforce, a scorchingly talented city symphony orchestra, an amazing bike trail and park system, a world class Great Plains Zoo and the list goes on.

Another huge asset in our city is our Sioux Empire Community Theater. They are just coming off a huge success with "Les Miserables", a show so popular that they had to add performances to accommodate the audience demand! They are now offering their last production of this season, June 12 through the 22nd, "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", adapted from the best-selling classic children's novel.

This production is one the whole family will love as it offers exciting adventure and exploration of eternal, universal themes of love, faith, courage and the triumph of good over evil. The characters will leave indelible impressions in your memory and the subjects it delves into will lead to conversations long after the final curtain.

See it this weekend in the Ann Zabel Studio Theater at 315 N. Phillips in downtown Sioux Falls. Stop by the box office or call 360-4800 for tickets. The performances begin at 7 pm on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays and  at 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
