The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire announces two new fishing tournaments featuring celebrity guests Riley Reiff and Zach Zenner of the Detroit Lions. Both Reiff and Zenner, former Iowa Hawkeye and South Dakota State Jackrabbit greats, are dedicated to making an impact both on and off the football field.

“Helping to mentor and support children and adolescents, especially kids at the Club, is important to me, coming home to do it is a great bonus,” said Reiff.

Zenner commented, “I am extremely excited to help out and support the Boys and Girls Club, especially through fishing! When I heard that I got to fish and support a great cause I knew I had to participate. Hope to see you there!”

The Celebrity tournaments will include an Ice Fishing and Summer Classic. The Ice Fishing Classic will be Saturday, February 20 at Dry Lake #2 near Willow Lake, South Dakota. Anglers can compete in teams of 2 to 4 with a cost of $160 per team. The tournaments include a ten team payout with $100 for largest walleye.

The Summer Classic is scheduled for Saturday, July 16 at Dry Lake #2 as well. Contact Amy Sumner at asumner@youthenrichment.org or 605-338-8061.
