Seinfeld Tweeting 2012 Style [PHOTOS]

I saw in interesting article today and it brought up an interesting question.  If Seinfeld were still on the air, what would they be talking about on the show.

As it turns out there is a new Twitter parody account Modern Seinfeld tells us exactly what Jerry, George, Kramer and Elaine would be up to in 2012

• George obsessing over Facebook likes? Jerry buying a smart car? Kramer creating a Kickstarter for dog tasers? All these and more can be found in the hot new Twitter parody account
• Though only created a matter of hours ago, the account has already garnered over 22,000 followers with no more than 39 tweets

We'll that got me to thinking.  What if you took the same concept and applied it to Timmy and Lassie.

I used to love watching the show as Lassie would sprint back to the house to get Grandpa to come save Timmy cause he'd fallen in the well or some other adventure mishap. Today Lassie would be equipped with GPS which would mark his exact location so the local officials could get there sooner to save Timmy.

Or how about Bonanza.

Think of the wear and tear on horses that could have been saved if they didn't have to hammer back home 'hell bent for leather' to tell about the gun-fight going on in town. Or in the case of the picture above, how much shoe leather Loren Green could have saved.

Technology has changed just about everything. So, when you're checking out some old television show, watch it and look for ways that today's technology would have looked 'out of this world' back then.
