If you have ever walked the streets of downtown Sioux Falls, you undoubtedly have spent some time looking at all the beautiful sculptures that line the streets of Main and Phillips Ave.

One of those sculptures was stolen, another vandalized early Saturday morning.

The sculpture called the "Raven" was removed from its pedestal in front of Minerva's and stolen, only to turn up on Sunday in Menlo Park in Sioux Falls.

The "Book Peddlers" sculpture, valued at $26,000 and located across the street on Phillips Ave. was vandalized.

SculptureWalk Ambassador Jeff Hanson says both incidents likely took place between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM on Saturday morning.

Anyone with information regarding the act should contact the Sioux Falls police department.
