Halloween is just over two weeks away. What better way to get in the Halloween spirit than with some scary movies?

According to MSN.com, here are the Top 10 scariest movies of all time. Let the debate begin:

10. Carrie (1976)
9. The Exorcist (1973)
8. The Shining (1980)
7. Nosferatu (1922)
6. Repulsion (1965)
5. Night of the Living Dead (1968)
4. The Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
3. Halloween (1978)
2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
1. Psycho (1960)

I've seen every movie on this list (some multiple times) and my personal list would change from this one by moving The Exorcist to the top. I saw it when I was very young and it scared the hell out of me!

Halloween (the original) would likely be #2. The Michael Myers character and the creepy music was all that was needed to make a great spooky movie in the 70's.

The Shining would be #3. I loved the book (and have read everything Stephen King has written) and though the movie strayed somewhat from the book, Jack Nicholson's psycho transformation in the movie coupled with little Danny and his "Redrum" Redrum" chants, still creep me out 30+ years later.

A more recent movie that made me jump when we went to the theatre was the first "Paranormal Activity". Filmed on a shoestring budget, it was different than anything in the genre and gave us a few legitimate 'jumps'.

What's on YOUR 'must-see' scary movie list?
