Sammy Hagar has posted a video on his website to say how excited he is to be done with his new duets album, Sammy Hagar and Friends.

Sitting on the patio overlooking the ocean at his vacation home in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Hagar says he only intended to do four songs, but it just grew into an album. Among those joining him are country singer Toby Keith, Grateful Dead drummer and his neighbor Mickey Hart, Taj Mahal, Michael Anthony, Neal Schon, Joe Satriani, Chad Smith, Nancy Wilson, Ronnie Dunn and Kid Rock. The first single is "Knockdown Dragout" featuring Kid Rock, Satriani and Denny Carmassi from Montrose.

In addition to the 10-track album, a deluxe version contains one more song and a DVD documentary on the making of the disc. Both edition will be out on September 24th.
