Rolling Stones Wrap Tour [VIDEO]

After 29 shows, including the warm-up dates in Paris (two) and Los Angeles (one), The Rolling Stones put the wraps on their 50 & Counting 50th anniversary tour Saturday at Hyde Park in London.

Unlike the majority of their North American shows, and despite numerous rumors, this last date did not feature any special guests nor any surprises in the set list. At the end of the night Mick Jagger told the 65,000 on hand, “You’ve been a fantastic audience! This is the last show of the tour. We want to thank you for coming to our shows for all these years.” There are rumors that they may do more European dates in the fall.

Over the 29 shows they did a total of 62 songs with “Midnight Rambler,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Start Me Up,” “Brown Sugar” and “Miss You” being played at each one. “It’s Only Rock N Roll” and “Tumblin’ Dice” were performed at 28 shows and 1980’s “Emotional Rescue” made its live debut on this tour.

The special guests along the way included Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban, John Fogerty, Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., Carrie Underwood, Dave Grohl, Bonnie Raitt, Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige, Eric Clapton, Florence Welch, Black Keys, Taj Mahal, Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Brad Paisley, Aaron Neville and Win Butler of Arcade Fire.
