Rolling Stones to Continue Tour?

The Rolling Stones are actually considering the offers from European promoters to continue their 50 & Counting tour in the fall. After each of the 29 shows they've done -- starting last November through this past Saturday in London -- they have posted the set list from that show on their website. Tacked onto the end of Saturday's posting was the following sentence, "The Rolling Stones have so far played 29 shows on this tour, & counting…" So we'll just have to wait and see.

Another thing people have been waiting for is a new Stones album, and Mick Jagger is not opposed to the idea, saying, "I'm always writing new songs so hopefully we'll do new songs one of these days soon."

The last album of original material from the Stones was 2005's A Bigger Bang.
