Have you had some technical difficulties when trying to play GTA Online the past few weeks? Rockstar understands your pain, and wants to make it up to you with some free in-game cash.

Due to a variety of issues that have plagued the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5's GTA Online, Rockstar has decided to offer a stimulus package to every person who's played the game at least once in October. Two different deposits of $250,000 will be made to each player's account, for a grand total of $500,000. That's not exactly chump change, and should give plenty of players the necessary funds to splurge on a new apartment or high-end car.

Rockstar understands there have been plenty of players who've lost characters, rank and cash due to the issues, and is hoping this move smooths things over after the rocky GTA Online launch. There will be a patch released next week, which Rockstar hopes will address the remaining issues with online connectivity. Following that patch, Rockstar will deliver the first installment of cash, with the second deposit due by the end of October. Another announcement will be made when the cash is ready, so we'll update you all as soon as we hear more.
