Rock Report: You Can Sample Rod Stewart’s Rock

We've been telling you over the past few weeks about Rod Stewart's new Christmas album, and about his 'return to rock' next year, but Rod is combining the two now.

If you buy a copy of Merry Christmas, Baby, you can get a download of the song Beautiful Morning which is on his new album, simply titled 'Rock', due out in the fall of 2013. Rock is his first album of original material since Human in 2001. He will tour in support of it, possibly on a bill with Steve Winwood.

For the Christmas album, Stewart is making numerous TV appearances behind the music including a PBS Special with guests including: Rod Stewart: Merry Christmas, Baby, featuring guest appearances by Michael Bublé, Mary J. Blige, Cee-Lo Green and the late Ella Fitzgerald in a virtual duet with Rod and Chris Botti.
