The reunited Black Sabbath has announced that their new album with (most) of the original group, will release it in April. In addition, the band has announced a string of Australian tour dates.

The announcement of the Australian tour (their first since 1974) has to come as good news in the wake of guitarist Tony Iommi's battle this past year with cancer, which forced the group to curtail most of its touring plans. Iommi is said to be doing well and going through post-treatment recovery.

Iommi, singer Ozzy Osbourne and bassist Geezer Butler have been recording their first album together since 1978 in England and Los Angeles

Drums for the album have been handled by Tommy Clufetos, who has played with Osbourne as well as Rob Zombie. Clufetos stepped in after founding Sabbath drummer Bill Ward declined to participate over a contractual dispute.
