Rock Report: Rolling Stones’ Wood’s Stuff Sold

Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood’s ex wife Jo held the auction she had threatened last weekend. You might remember the sniping that went on between the former couple when it was announced she planned to put Wood’s belongings up for sale some months ago.

They settled their differences and agreed to donate a part of the proceeds to MusiCares.

Items that sold included:

•A white leather coat worn by Wood for $8960
•A lithograph of Eric Clapton drawn by Wood that features his signature and Clapton’s, for $5120
•A cardboard guitar cutout given to Wood by Keith Richards for $6875
•The real guitar, a 1955 Fender Stratocaster guitar played on stage by Wood, for $60,800.
