Before The Rolling Stones announced their two shows at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on December 13th and 15th, there was a rumor that they would play the newly opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Well the rumor is back with December 8th being floated about as the date. A spokeswoman for the band was unavailable for comment.

Mick Jagger was asked if there would be more dates in either Newark, or London in November where they are doing two shows at the O2 Arena on the 25th and 29th, but he said, "[While] there are spaces [in our schedule, the venues] are pretty filled up." The O2 has shows by Robbie Williams before the Stones' first show, and then Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie followed by Alanis Morissette in between. Then immediately after are shows by Keane, Jason Mraz and Elbow. The Newark shows are preceded by a wrestling event and followed by a basketball game, although the 14th is dark.

Stay tuned!
