The Who are preparing to kick off their first tour in five years and for the first time in 15 years, the band is going to tackle their 1973 classic 'Quadophenia'.

Pete Townshend thought of the idea, wrote it and produced it, but it was Roger Daltrey who pushed to resurrect the piece and has spent much of the past year updating the staging featuring significant multimedia and video projections. Daltrey says that it become it's own entity when you try to put it on the stage and it doesn't fit or exist in the real world, instead turning out like a Coen Brothers film.

The Who kick off their tour Thursday in Sunrise, Florida. The tour stops in Minneapolis at the Target Center on November 27.
