Robbie Knievel Arrested After Sturgis Rampage
The daredevil son of Evel Knievel was arrested near the Buffalo Chip Campground Tuesday (August 6) on a DUI charge after smashing into two other motor homes while driving his own, and then leaving the scene.
According to TMZ, Robbie Knievel was found a short distance from the Chip, idling on the side of the road texting and smelling of alcohol. Officers asked Knievel if he'd been drinking and he admitted to having three drinks earlier in the day.
Knievel blew .228 (almost triple the legal limit in South Dakota) and failed the field sobriety tests as well. Knievel has already been sentenced for the crime by having his license suspended for 30 days and paying a $600 fine.
Knievel admitted to TMZ to being an alcoholic and being a drinking daredevil. Hear the call here
