Police say three people were charged after an apparent road rage incident in Sioux Falls Monday night.

Officer Sam Clemens says police believe it began around 9:00 p.m. when a 17-year-old who was driving a diesel pickup in the area of 41st and Sertoma accelerated as he passed a large group of motorcyclists, sending a cloud of exhaust onto the cyclists:

Clemens says the motorcyclists followed the truck to Mininesota Avenue, then west on 22nd Street to Sanford Children's Hospital, where one cycle rider broke a side mirror on the truck and the truck driver ran into an ATV to push it out of the way.

Police were called and three people were arrested: the 17-year-old for aggravated assault and no insurance; one motorcyclist, 23-year-old Matthew Moen of Harrisburg for intentional damage to property; and the pickup passenger, 19-year-old Noah Brandt of Sioux Falls for disorderly conduct.
