A salmonella outbreak likely linked to raw tuna has sickened 53 people in nine states, health officials said Thursday.

Most of the cases, 31 - so far - are in California, Arizona, Illinois, Mississippi, New Mexico, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and And South Dakota.

At this time a common brand or supplier of raw tuna has not been identified" - Center for Disease Control and Prevention

Ten people have been hospitalized and the source of the outbreak is still unknown, but most who fell ill reported eating sushi containing raw tuna.

If you absolutely need to satisfy your tuna fix - might I suggest this instead - for now.
