The Beatles' are still such a big deal that a rare 45 demo of their first single. "Love Me Do," recently sold on eBay for $10,000. The 45 was one of only 250 made for radio airplay in 1962. The demo was from a personal collection and predates the Parlophone imprints of the single. When the song was released the group were unknowns and the writing credits instead of listing Lennon-McCartney read 'McArtney.'

The song only climbed to Number 17 in the United Kingdom but it paved the way for the group to release "Please Please Me," which launched their careers.
According to Rollingstone.com, another copy of the demo sold for $17,000 in an auction in 2011.
