R.E.M. Almost Reunites

All four former members of R.E.M., including long-retired drummer Billy Berry, took the stage Saturday night in Portland -- just not at the same time.

The occasion was guitarist Peter Buck's wedding to Chloe Johnson, and Michael Stipe, bassist Mike Mills, Buck and Berry all performed in various combinations at the reception. Ethan Kaplan, who runs the fansite Murmurs.com, posted a Vine of Mills, Buck, Berry -- along with sidemen Scott McCaughey and Bill Rieflin -- doing "Near Wild Heaven."

Other performers included The Decemberists and Joseph Arthur.

Mills recently told Rolling Stone that there are "zero plans for a reunion." Guess he wasn't kidding.
