Triple "A" says the average price for a gallon of gasoline in South Dakota is at its lowest level in nearly four years.

The auto club says the South Dakota average on Tuesday was $2.925, the lowest since December 3, 2010 and continuing a decline that has gone on for 22 days in a row.

In Sioux Falls, the average was just under $2.69,showing a drop of more than 16 cents in the past week and well under the $2.93 of a year ago.

AAA South Dakota spokeswoman Marilyn Buskohl says we can thank low crude oil prices.

She says falling oil prices worldwide are the primary reason we're paying less at the pump, and she says AAA expects the downward pressure to continue through Thanksgiving.
