Progress on $18.3M Project in Sioux Falls

Crews are making progress on a construction project in southeast Sioux Falls.

The State Department of Transportation says traffic on 57th Street between Sycamore Avenue and State Highway 11 is being switched on Thursday.

The DOT says eastbound traffic on 57th will be moved to a single eastbound lane south of the median, while westbound traffic on 57th will be placed in a single lane on the north side of the median.

Local residents will have access, while Harmodon Park will be accessible from 41st Street east of Sycamore Avenue and also from 57th Street.

The DOT says the work on Highway 11 between 26th and 57th Streets and on 57th between Sycamore and Highway 11 is expected to be completed by October 25.
