Police: Sioux Falls Woman Slashes Man with Box Cutter

Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says a woman struck a man with a box cutter while trying to get into his apartment Sunday night.

"We had a man inside his apartment and heard a knock at the door. He looked outside, didn't see anyone and proceeded to unlock the door. There was a woman outside that he has known for quite some time. She started to try to enter the apartment. He does not want her in there and tried to close the door to keep her out. She pulled out a box cutter and swung it at him a couple of times---hitting the victim in the arm. Eventually, he was able to get the door closed and called police."

Clemens says 46-year old Mona Rae Good Face of Sioux Falls was arrested for aggravated assault.

The victim suffered minor injuries.
