A Sioux Falls sex offender faces charges after he allegedly exposed himself to a 17-year-old boy on Sunday.

"We had a mom and her son who were moving," Spokesman Sam Clemens shared with us.

"A neighbor came over to help them. Mom had met this guy just a couple of times and didn't know him that well. As he was helping them move, they were probably grateful for the extra help. At some point he was alone with her son. This man exposed himself to the 17-year-old. This happened a couple of different times and then this man left. As soon as he departed, the boy told his mother what had happened."

Clemens says that's when mom called police.

"We were able to find him. He was arrested for indecent exposure. The officers also found what is believed to be some synthetic marijuana on him so he faces drug charges as well."

Clemens identified the suspect as 32-year-old Adam Neil Olson of Sioux Falls.
