Police Searching for Man Who Attacked Woman on Sioux Falls Bike Trails

A woman was attacked on the Sioux Falls bike trails Wednesday morning when a man jumped out of the bushes and pulled her to the ground. She yelled and fought back and the suspect fled on a bicycle.

According to police, the 43 year-old woman saw the suspect earlier while he was riding a 20 inch, black BMX brand bicycle.

The incident happened in Cherry Rock Park near South Cliff Avenue.

According to our news gathering partners KDLT, the suspect is described as a Native American man, mid to late teens, with short black spiked hair. He was wearing a black tank top with light stripes on the sides.
