Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says a woman was struck by a rock while driving in Western Sioux Falls early Wednesday morning.

"As she was driving there were three teenagers that were throwing rocks at cars. Her car was hit by a rock. The rock broke the side window and then cut her face. She stopped and reported the incident to police. We have not been able to find the three suspects. We are hoping that someone has information...maybe a description or something that will help up track down these three people." The woman's injuries were not serious.

In another incident, Clemens says a driver was the target of a gunshot at 16th and Marion in Sioux Falls.

"We had an officer who was parked in a lot. He saw two cars driving past and then heard a gunshot. Once the gun went off---one of the vehicles turned off quickly. The officer then stopped the car and found out it was the victim. He apparently had turned around in an apartment complex and honked at somebody in his way, That person then followed him and then fired a shot. The subject was not injured. There was a bullet casing that was found on the roadway."

Clemens says the suspect as a white male with blond hair possibly driving a white or tan GMC Envoy.
