Details are starting to come in regarding an aggravated assault Wednesday night in Sioux Falls.

Police report a man supposedly pointed a gun at a female victim at around 10:00 P.M. Wednesday night at a home in the 500 Block of South 3rd.

Upon their arrival, police evacuated the residents from the home, then attempted to contact the suspect in question. Shortly after they were able to verify that the man had already left the private residence.

Police were not able to garner a positive identification on the suspect in question from the initial information available from the scene.

However they do feel there is no current indication of danger to the general public.
