Police say an automated teller machine was stolen from near a convenience store in northeast Sioux Falls early Friday, and it's not the first one that has disappeared from that location.

Officer Sam Clemens says the First Premier Bank ATM was taken around 4:00 a.m. from 3700 North Potsdam Avenue, and it's the second or third one taken from that area:

Clemens says police believe the front-end loader was stolen, although they weren't immediately certain where it came from, but he says investigators believe the loader was used to push the ATM over and haul it to where it was put into another vehicle. He says the ATM itself is valued at $40,000, minus the cash in it.
