Pearl Jam Guitarist Releasing Solo Album

Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard will release a new solo album called Moonlander on June 25th, according to Billboard.com. Pearl Jam/Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron, singer/songwriter Pete Droge, drummer Regan Hagar from Gossard's other band Brad and others will make guest appearances on the record, which is Gossard's second solo effort and first since 2001's Bayleaf.

The 11 songs on the new disc will be released one at a time, with a new track and original artwork from Gossard posted online at Pearl Jam's website every Tuesday morning. The first song, I Need Something Different. went up yesterday (April 16th) and is available as a free download.
