Bad Company's joint dates with Lynyrd Skynyrd are shaping up to be one of the hottest double bills on the road this summer. Each band's set is expected to hit some major career highlights as both bands celebrate their 40th anniversaries on the road together. Since reuniting in 2001, Bad Company has only played 11 isolated performances, and has not staged a North American tour until now.

The band features original members frontman Paul Rodgers, guitarist Mick Ralphs, and drummer Simon Kirke. Joining them on the road is second guitarist Howard Leese and Rodgers' solo bassist Todd Ronning.

Paul Rodgers says the guys in Lynyrd Skynyrd were actually responsible for another kind of career highlight -- introducing him to his current wife Cynthia Kereluk -- a fitness guru and both a former Miss Canada and Miss Universe: "About 15 years ago I was touring with them as a solo artist, and they kept saying, 'Wait 'til we get to Vancouver, we're gonna introduce ya to Cynthia. And I kept saying, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah,' and they were, 'No, no, really' -- I'm like, 'Yeah, yeah, sure.' And so they did, and well, y'know, the rest is history. We got on like a house on fire. They had a feeling that we would just get along great. And yeah, it worked out, it's fantastic."
