One Dead in Sioux Falls Shooting

A shooting in a northwest Sioux Falls home Monday afternoon has left one dead and one hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The shooting was reported to Metro Communications at 2:47pm in the 4200 block of North Alaska Avenue.

Police found one person dead inside the home while the other was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Sioux Falls Police say there are an unknown number of suspects and there have been no arrests. Police say the neighborhood is not in any immediate danger.
