Two of the Summit League's best men's basketball players last season will begin their pro careers on the other side of the world later this year.

Former North Dakota State standouts Taylor Braun and TrayVonn Wright are heading overseas to play in European leagues.

Braun, the Summit League' Player of the Year, has agreed to a contract with Okapi Aalstar in Belgium's top league.  He recently completed a stint with the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Summer League, averaging 3.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in three games.

The Oregon native led the Bison to the regular season and tournament championships in the Summit League last season, averaging 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals a game.

Wright has signed with WBC Raiffeisen Wels in Austria. The Waterloo, Iowa native was a second team All-Summit League selection last season, averaging 11 points, five rebounds, and two blocks a game.
