Night 1 of Hot Harley Nights 2013 a Success
The 18th Annual Hot Harley Nights for Make A Wish of South Dakota got underway Friday night (July 12) in Sioux Falls.
A nice warm evening made for good crowds at J&L Harley Davidson for live and silent auctions, a bike show, music from ORYX, hot food and ice cold beer. Over $7200 was raised for the charity on the live auction last night while the silent auction continues through the afternoon today. Raffle tickets are also still available for $25 each for a chance to win a 2013 Super Glide Custom Harley that we will give away tonight!
Local high school rock band ORYX provided the tunes while the crowd checked out the bikes and renewed friendships that go back decades.
Day two gets underway at J&L at noon. Food and beverages will be available, silent auction continues and the New Johnson's will be playing all afternoon. At 6pm, the largest parade in the region will leave J&L headed towards downtown (Take note of the NEW route!) B102.7 will go commercial free to provide the soundtrack for the parade. There will be plenty of food and beverage vendors in Falls Park West this evening and music from the Jukebox Zeroes from 7:30-11pm. Remember, all proceeds benefit Make A Wish of South Dakota!
This was the grand champion bike of the bike show and will be featured on the logo for the 19th annual Hot Harley Nights July 11-13, 2014!
