Throughout my entire lifetime, I was always under the impression that a pro team or more specifically a NFL team being in Las Vegas was something that was considered not possible.

However, with the Oakland Raiders currently in limbo on what their future might be, Las Vegas has popped up in many rumor circles as a possible landing spot for the Raiders.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the possible move to Las Vegas and some of the hurdles that might be involved.

"Ultimately, it's the ownership's decision," Goodell said on the Rich Eisen Show this week during Super Bowl Week. "It requires 24 of the 32 owners to approve any relocation to any market."

"Obviously, there are specific issues that would need to discussed in the context of Las Vegas," Goodell went on to say.

I personally think a move out of Oakland is essential is moving forward for the Raiders in the right direction and I can't think of a better place to embody what the Raiders mean and have meant than Sin City and Las Vegas, Nevada.
