The August 2014 New Music Releases roster features a long-awaited return from one of rock's most beloved guitarists, Ace Frehley, as well as a variety of new and archived material from artists such as Asia, Ian Anderson and AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd.

Ex-Kiss guitarist Frehley leads the pack with his first solo album in five years, the aptly named 'Space Invader.' The Spaceman promises to make his ex-bandmates -- who have had a few bad things to say about his current skill level in recent months -- look "foolish" with his playing on this effort.

AC/DC drummer Rudd sure waited a long time to release his first-ever solo album, but if it's all as good as the Motorhead-influenced first single 'Repo Man,' you won't hear any complaining from us. Frehley and Rudd will be joined in the record bins by new efforts from Skid Row, Ian Anderson and Accept.
