The Miami Dolphins apparently felt it was time for a "new look". The team headquarters had intentions of keeping it under wraps until April 25th, but in this day-and-age of social media, leaks are bound to happen.

The Dolphins logo that popped up on the Internet over the last 48 hours -- first appearing on NFL.com -- is the real deal.

The culprit? The "digital footprint" may lead to Dolphins defensive end Jared Odrick who Tweeted that he received a "whole new wardrobe" and then posted a picture of him wearing a t-shirt with the new Dolphins logo.

Kinda tough to deny that one, Jared. Oops.

On a side note, My 8 year old son is a Dolphins fan. Were' not buying all new pennants, helmets, T-shirts, jerseys, and piggy banks just because the dolphin looks cooler.
